Our Lady of Mount Carmel

Welcome to ©copyright 2017 Classy†Carmelite blog by Tina Marie, OCDS published February 20, 2017. I have chosen the first blog date in honor of my late Grandmother, Doris Marie Nisperos, Sept. 21, 1923 to Feb. 23, 2005. She is why I am a devout Catholic and like her I am here to share God’s love with you. This is a place where I gather all the ordinary or extraordinary things that happen in day to day life and the journey of “Climbing the Mountain in response to God’s Call to Carmel”. I hope you join me in hope to find God’s Grace Daily in “all things” along the pathway’s of this crazy mixed up world.

Posts that include but not limited to: What a devout catholic is reading or listening to… praying… family matters… health… retreats… travels… fashion modesty… and much more. These are the small and big moments that make up my blessed life; and I want to remember them and share them with you. My hope is to inspire, bring you closer to God by living the Godly life, while having fun along the way.

Please message me with to ask private questions and make prayer requests. I am proud to be a Carmelite, OCDS praying for “You” and the world. Peace, Love, and Hopes for a short time in Purgatory.

You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance. I am not a journalist or English major but a Meningioma Brain Tumor Survior, so grammar police “Let it go”. Thank you for your kind words and patience while I am continuously a work in progress.

May the Lord bless us, protect us from all evil and bring us to everlasting life. Amen.

“Never worry about numbers. Help one person at a time and always start with the person nearest you.” ~ Mother Teresa
